COWD TURNS 49

The Cagayan de Oro City Water District has lined up several activities for its 49^th founding anniversary on August 1, 2022.

 

Different working committees were formed to spearhead various activities conducted. While the celebration started with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Nazareno Parish at 8 o’clock in the morning, lucky paying customers at the COWD Admin Building were receiving hygiene kits and various corporate give-aways such as umbrellas, ballcaps, water bottles and ballpens through drawing of lots.

 

After the Thanksgiving Mass, blessing of COWD warehouse, vehicles and elevated generator set platform followed. While COWD’s workforce are in festive spirit, regular operations remain undisrupted as the Management and staff have been working hand in hand to provide better if not excellent water service to its concessionaires.

 

To cap-off the celebration, an Anniversary Program will be held at the Grand Caprice to recognize its employees’ who have unselfishlessly rendered dedicated service to COWD as they reached their 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th and 40th years respectively.
