Highlighting the importance of a properly built septic tank and the required desludging of septage every 3-5 years per the Sanitation Code of the Philippines.

Properly maintained septic tanks prevent contamination of groundwater and ensure that we are free from diseases such as cholera, typhoid, dysentery, etc.

This lecture was imparted to 100 residents of Brgy. Carmen & Lapasan. It came with 100 hygiene kits containing toiletries.

This is also related to the forthcoming launch of the Septage Management Program for Cagayan de Oro City.
